I'll present “Family Literacy Engagement: Moving Beyond Compliance,” as part of the strategies offered by ASCD Annual to improve outcomes for all students and help attendees solve the tough issues facing their school or district. Dyslexia, a cluster of symptoms, can significantly impact a student's academic journey. It often results in difficulties with specific language skills, particularly reading.

Students with dyslexia may struggle with other language skills such as spelling, writing, and pronouncing words. This learning disability can make it challenging for students to succeed academically in the typical instructional environment.

Understanding the profound impact of dyslexia is crucial for providing the right support. ALTA-certified professionals possess a high level of training and knowledge, enabling them to deliver the most effective instruction for students with dyslexia.
