Feeling Grateful!
I am profoundly honored and deeply moved to receive the AIPEH Ambassador of Peace Award 2025. My gratitude extends to the International Association of Hispanic Arts and Culture, President, Dr. Palmira Ubiñas Cardona, the Board of Directors, and Executive Director of the Miami Chapter, Mr. Edward Mena for this extraordinary recognition!!!
This award is not only a personal milestone for me, but it is a testament to the power of compassion, resilience, and unity. It represents every Powerhouse Emotional Intelligence workshop that I teach with my team, where our children/ youth learn to manage anger and solve conflicts peacefully without resorting to violence ; where every parent finds hope; where vulnerable populations reclaim their voice; where employers and their staff come together as one for a harmonious workplace by practicing understanding, empathy and compassion, while building a robust and resilient workplace where everyone feels valued, heard and appreciated.
Let’s not forget that Peace is not passive. It is an act of courage. It is the daily decision to uplift humanity with dignity, empathy, and unwavering conviction. Through Powerhouse Workshops & Consulting, my mission has always been clear: to help people rise above emotional pain, reclaim self-mastery, and contribute to a world where healing becomes a collective responsibility.
Today, as I receive this incredible honor, I do so on behalf of all those who believe in the unbreakable strength of the human spirit. I accept it with humility, responsibility, and renewed devotion to the work ahead.
May we continue to build bridges where there are divides, understanding where there is conflict, and peace where it is needed most.
