Nerve Block Injections offer an effective treatment for Chronic Pain Management. If you suffer from chronic pain, you may be a candidate for a nerve block injection. This procedure utilizes imaging technology to precisely locate the nerves responsible for transmitting pain signals. Then, a medication is injected directly into the targeted nerve area. The goal is to interrupt pain signaling or decrease inflammation, allowing the body an opportunity to heal. Contact APICO Pain Management™ to determine if a nerve block injection could provide relief for your chronic pain. https://apicopain.com/

What is Degenerative disc disease? DDD is the wearing down of spinal discs, which are rubbery cushions located between the bones in your spinal column. These discs act as shock absorbers and facilitate comfortable movement, bending, and twisting. It is a natural part of aging for everyone's spinal discs to degenerate over time. The primary symptoms of degenerative disc disease are neck pain and back pain. The pain may come and go, lasting for weeks or months at a time, and it can cause numbness or tingling in the arms or legs. Additionally, the pain may radiate down the lower back and buttocks and worsen with sitting, bending, or lifting. DDD is caused by the natural aging process, which leads to the wearing down of spinal discs. As people age, the soft core of the discs, which is primarily composed of water, gradually loses water content. Consequently, the discs become thinner and offer less shock absorption than before. Minor injuries can also result in small cracks in the spinal discs, often near nerves. These tears can be painful, even if they are minor. The pain associated with DDD can occur in the neck or lower back and may extend into the arms, hands, buttocks, and legs. Curious about Kyphoplasty? Kyphoplasty is a minimally invasive surgical procedure that can provide significant pain relief for patients experiencing compression fractures of the spine. The procedure aims to stabilize the fracture and help restore height and reduce deformities in the spine. During the procedure, a cement-like material is injected into the targeted area, which hardens within the bone, supporting and stabilizing the fracture to prevent further collapse. For patients suffering from painful spinal fractures, kyphoplasty provides an effective solution. Please contact APICO Pain Management™ to schedule a consultation to evaluate if you're a candidate for kyphoplasty to achieve a pain-free lifestyle once again. https://apicopain.com/

Cervical spinal stenosis happens when the space inside the cervical spinal canal narrows. Learn about diagnosis and treatments.

If you suffer from spinal stenosis, it means that the bony canals - or the passageways - through which your nerves and spinal cord travel have become narrowed. This can be caused by arthritis, which causes the facet joints and ligaments to become enlarged and thicker. This in turn restricts the space for the nerves, leading to inflammation and resulting in symptoms like pain, numbness or weakness. This condition is most often acquired due to age-related degeneration of the spine or traumatic injury to the spine. Learn more by contacting APICO Pain Management™ today- https://apicopain.com/

How does the Mild Procedure work? This minimally invasive lumbar decompression is an outpatient procedure that relieves pressure on the spine. This procedure is used to treat chronic lower back pain caused by lumbar spinal stenosis, a condition in which the spinal canal narrows and compresses the spinal nerves. The procedure involves inserting a small device through a tiny incision in the back and using it to remove small pieces of bone and tissue that are causing the compression. This helps to relieve pressure on the nerves to restore proper function, reduce pain, and improve mobility. Find out if you're a candidate by contacting APICO Pain Management™ today. https://apicopain.com/
