Autism is a developmental disability that can affect how a child talks, learns, and interacts with others. Signs often appear before age 3 and may include trouble with communication, repeated behaviors, or sensitivity to sounds or touch. In Delaware, children with autism may qualify for special education services through their local school district. If you have concerns about a child from birth to age 3, contact Development Watch (CDW) for support and evaluation.

Medicaid helps many people in Delaware get the health care they need. It helps pay for doctor visits, medicine, checkups, hospital care, and other important services. Medicaid supports children, adults, seniors, and people with disabilities so they can stay healthy and get care when they need it.

If you think you may qualify for Medicaid, you can apply through Delaware Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS) . The easiest way to apply is online using Delaware ASSIST. Managing diabetes is easier with the right tools. A Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) is a small device you wear that checks your blood sugar all day and night. It helps you see patterns, avoid highs and lows, and share information with your doctor. Using a CGM can help you stay on track and feel more in control of your diabetes.

Having a doula can help moms feel more supported and prepared. Doulas can also help families understand their choices, speak up for their needs, and feel less stress during birth. Support doesn’t end when the baby is born - doulas can also help during recovery and early parenting.
