Do you have a soon-to-be middle schooler or high schooler?

I'll be leading two small groups this summer for girls entering 6th grade and 9th grade! These are such heavy, transformative years where they are going through big changes.

Our groups will be centered on entering these next chapters of their life with true confidence and purpose.

An emotionally charged memory might look like a mess of a file folder. Regardless of how long ago the memory took place, it's actively guiding your thoughts, beliefs, and actions.

Once a memory has been reprocessed through implementing EMDR, it's no longer emotionally charged and messy. It's there because it happened, but it's neatly stored away.

I'm still undergoing supervised consultation, but am able to implement EMDR in sessions. My sweet, smart friend worded all things EMDR perfectly!

I had the best time hanging with these girls for a while yesterday!

We talked dreams, hobbies, goals, and gas station snacks. Teens have such a big part of my (almost) counselor heart. I'm excited to continue to find new ways to pursue them. 🩵

Acceptance frees you from burdens..rather it be accepting yourself, situations, or lack of control you have.

It's not a weak move to practice acceptance, but one that gives you freedom. 🦋
