Dr. Zapodeanu is a Certified Culinary Medicine Specialist (CCMS) specializing in advanced dry eye care using nutrition-based food therapy, IPL OptiLight, TearCare, and comprehensive routine and medical eye exams.

She earned her Medical Doctor degree and completed an Ophthalmology Residency in Romania, then graduated with distinction from Pacific University College of Optometry, receiving the Beta Sigma Kappa Award for exceptional research on Dry Eye Syndrome. She completed a Family Practice Optometry Residency at Northeastern Oklahoma College of Optometry and was named a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry for research and publications on uveitis, diabetic retinopathy, dry eye syndrome, and herpetic eye diseases.
