Did you know that 1 in 4 school-aged children has an undiagnosed vision problem? 😮 Vision plays a HUGE role in learning, behavior, and development — especially in those early years!

Here’s how you can help protect your child’s vision:
👓 Schedule regular eye exams, even if no problems are obvious
📵 Limit screen time and encourage eye-friendly breaks
🧢 Use protective eyewear during sports and outdoor play
🖍️ Watch for signs like squinting, sitting too close to screens, or frequent headaches

When we think of wellness for kids, it’s about more than just staying active or eating well — it’s about helping them grow, thrive, and reach their full potential. That’s where Pediatric Therapy comes in! 💙

At every age and stage, kids may need a little extra support in different areas:
👄 Speech Therapy helps with talking, understanding, feeding, and social communication.

Colorful Coffee Filter Butterflies

Ingredients:
- Coffee filters
- Washable markers
- Pipe cleaners
- Spray bottle with water
- Clothespins

Directions:
1. Start by flattening the coffee filters on a flat surface to prepare them for coloring.
2. Provide your little ones with washable markers and let them have fun coloring designs on the coffee filters. Encourage creativity by using various colors and patterns.
3. Once the filters are decorated, take the spray bottle filled with water and lightly mist the colored filters. This will help the colors blend together beautifully.
4. After spraying, let the coffee filters dry completely. You can hang them on a clothesline or lay them on a flat surface.
5. Once dry, pinch the center of each filter gently and secure it with a pipe cleaner, twisting it around the filter to create the antennae.
6. Finally, fluff out the wings to achieve the desired butterfly shape.

Tips & Variations:
- Use different sizes of coffee filters to create butterflies of varying sizes, allowing for a more dynamic visual display.
- For added decoration, consider using glitter or sequins on the butterflies after they are fully dry for some sparkle!

Bittersweet moment alert 🥹🎓

Olivia is officially graduating out of OT — and while we’re SO proud of all her progress, it’s hard to say goodbye to the sessions that brought her and Mrs. Cera so close.

These two have built such a special bond, and yes… there were a few tears today (from both sides). 😢💛
The good news? They’ll still see each other around — because once you’re part of the family, you’re always part of the family. 💕

Congratulations, Olivia! We’ll miss seeing you every week, but we know you’re going to do amazing things. 🌟
