It was Halloween Bingo with spider deviled eggs and other goodies by our creative chefs. Some bad "Dad" jokes were told between the games. Everyone had a good time.

After years of planning, Steve and Susan officially turned on the 52 solar panels!!! And the EV charger is now working off the solar panels during the day. Jesse from SolarLogix was there to oversee the change over. Let the sun shine.

We had great summer barbecue with entertainment by Mid Coast Uke's.

Thanks to SolarLogic we now have 52 solar panels on our south side carport. We are looking forward to seeing the electric meter turn counterclockwise to the tune of a $10,000 year savings.

We had our Roman Toga Murder Mystery Dinner last evening. Folks dressed the part, our chefs did a fantastic job, and the decorations added to the fun.

Our work group from Keep Belfast Maine Beautiful. We filled a number of garbage bags along Route 1 and then enjoyed a BBQ. Thanks to everyone who participated.

Happy Earth Day. The day may be damp and dreary but we're playing Earth Day Bingo to recognize recycling, reusing, repurposing, zero waste, and gardening. Prizes include these house plants in our compost delivered by ScrapDogs Composting.

A few weeks ago 8th graders from Troy Howard Middle School in Belfast wrote letters to our residents and many kept up the correspondence as Pen Pals. Today the students came to Penobscot Shores and met their pen pal in person. Everyone had a great time and of course our chefs spoiled us with cookies and brownies.
