We are located in Bella Vista at 1801 forest hills blvd suite 131b. The entrance is directly across the street from the phillips station. We open at 4pm Wednesdays. Upcoming clinic dates are all on Wednesdays:

We ask that only uninsured patients arrive to be seen. Please bring some form of identification with you or we wont be able to see you. Patients will be seen on a first come, first served basis. If you are in need of refills, you must be seen at the clinic to get your refills.

OMEGA-3 OILS

In addition to oils I wrote about recently, other fats worth considering are extra-virgin olive oil, fish oil, DHA and flaxseed oil, and borage oil.

Why consider these omega-3s? They may help treat anxiety, improve immunity, protect against autoimmune diseases, prevent and treat cancer, aid in damage from strokes, prevent heart rhythm problems, treat depression, and prevent atherosclerosis.

We should do our best to avoid trans-fatty acids and excessive omega-6 oils. Instead, opt for healthier oils like those listed above.

FISH OIL

is composed of DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) and EPA.

DHA reduces inflammation and is vital for your blood vessels.

it has been shown to lower blood pressure

they've been shown to significantly benefit patients with type two diabetes

the brain is composed of high concentrations of DHA and it is imperative that we keep these levels sufficient. Eating fish oil helps the brain by reducing inflammation, reducing activation of microglia and strengthening the connections between nerve cells.

OMEGA-6 OILS

Omega-6 oils include sunflower, peanut, canola, safflower, soy bean, and corn. I recommend using these oils/fats as little as possible.

These fats dramatically increase inflammation and suppress your immune system, dramatically promote growth of cancer cells, increase the risk of dangerous heart rhythms by increasing heart muscle irritability, and aggravate inflammation within blood vessels.

Inflammation of blood vessels is a key cause of atherosclerosis, and atherosclerosis is the number one killer of Americans.

In past decades, the ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 fatty acids in human diets was 1:1 or 2:1. Today the ratio is 20-30:1.
