New Moon, New Year! The beginning of a new cycle.  New Moons are always a great time to set intentions, and with the dawning of 2021, an even better time to follow through with the resolutions you made for this New Year.

The New Moon on January 12/13, 2021 is at 23 degrees Capricorn. This is the exact degree the Great Conjunction between Pluto and Saturn took place in January 2020. This first New Moon of 2021 is also adjacent to Pluto, the planet of personal power. Pluto represents the death of the old and the rebirth of the new. As the past continues to collapse, the future is beginning to emerge. Capricorn represents how we show up in the world, ambition, accountability, self-control, and achievement.
This new moon asks each of us to look within. Where can you empower yourself to take responsibility for your own transformation? How are you willing to show up for yourself to make your dreams come true?

 This is a time to reflect on how your life has changed since January 2020. What has been forever altered by the events and confinements of the previous year? What have you learned about yourself? Your relationships? Your resilience? How have you grown and expanded your beliefs about yourself and what you are capable of?
Be clear on what you want for 2021. When 2021 comes to an end, what would you like your life to look like? How would you like your life to be transformed?  What would you like to keep? What would you like to get rid of? Focus on how you seek to feel rather then the details.

The New Moon Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius brings evolution, transformation, unexpected changes followed by expansion of awareness and a new direction.

The New Moon is a time of setting intensions. With the moon in Sagittarius there is a push towards freedom and exploring our personal dreams and desires. This is an opportunity to make the choice to master your own life and make decisions for what you genuinely want deep at your core.

The moon is about the internal emotional self.  There may be intense feelings around past mistakes and regrets. It is important to accept and be grateful for the lessons learned but leave behind any feelings of guilt and shame. The mishaps and heartbreak are what have ripened you for a new adventure.
