Hot take on the new Dietary Guidelines👀

The visuals miss the mark, and the systems conversation is still under developed.

We can’t promote “real food” without addressing who actually has access to it and how regenerative local food systems are supported.

What’s your reaction to these new guidelines? I know yall have opinions!

Adding color to your meals isn’t about eating “perfect” or chasing superfoods.

It’s about giving your body a variety of nutrients that support healing, resilience, and long-term health especially after cancer.

Each color brings something different.
Each vegetable supports the body in its own way. And no single food does it all.

If food feels confusing or heavy after treatment, you’re not doing it wrong.

You just haven’t been given a clear, compassionate framework yet.

If you’re ready for support that helps you feel confident, nourished, and at ease with food again, I’d love to walk alongside you. 💗

👉🏻Which color do you find easiest to add right now?

Hello & welcome 🤍

With so many new folks joining recently, I wanted to re-introduce myself.

I’m Taylor — a registered dietitian and the voice behind Nourish After Cancer. I support women navigating life after breast cancer treatment — that in-between season where appointments slow down, support seems to fade, and there’s a lot of asking yourself “Now what?”

This space is for you if you’re:
• transitioning out of active treatment
• feeling unsure how to nourish your body again
• having good days and hard days
• wondering what’s in your control when it comes to recurrence
• wanting a steadier, more compassionate roadmap forward

There’s no pressure to do everything “right” here. This is a space for clarity, trust, education, and rebuilding confidence — at your pace.

If you’re open to sharing, I’d love to know:
✨ What brought you here?
✨ What kind of support would feel most helpful right now?

You’re always welcome to comment, react, or just read along quietly. I’m really glad you’re here. 🫶🏼☺️

After cancer, many people try to “do everything right” with food.

But constant vigilance, fear, and food rules?
That’s stressful on the body, too.

Inflammation isn’t just about what you eat.
It’s about how safe your body feels while eating.

You’re allowed to enjoy food again.
You’re allowed to feel at ease in your body.

If you’re navigating the sugar scaries and want support that actually feels grounding,
my Remission Reset is here for you 🤎

Comment READY for more details. 🫶🏼

Somewhere along the way, I convinced myself that if I didn’t do more, the year didn’t count.

But when I actually pause and look…
I showed up.
I chose alignment.
I did things that don’t always look impressive on paper—but changed me deeply.

This is your reminder that progress isn’t always loud, linear, or easy to measure.

Sometimes it looks like boundaries. Therapy. Rest. Speaking up. Trusting yourself anyway.

✨ If this resonates, save it for the days you forget how far you’ve come—or share it with someone who needs the reminder. 🫶🏼

👉🏻 are you waking up exhausted?
👉🏻do you feel guilty for making it through cancer treatment?
👉🏻 are you overwhelmed or unsure how to feed yourself?
👉🏻 do carbs freak you out?
👉🏻 are you blaming yourself for your diagnosis?
👉🏻 are you just outright scared of recurrence?

You’re not alone && you certainly don’t have to stay stuck in these situations.

👇🏼COMMENT below.. what do you need right now to feel more secure in your body or care routines after cancer?

Ending treatment doesn’t automatically mean feeling okay.

So many people enter remission thinking they should feel relieved but instead feel unsure, anxious, disconnected from their body,
and overwhelmed by food and asking themselves “what now?”

Survivorship isn’t a return to who you were before.

It’s a new chapter—and it deserves support.

The Remission Reset was created for this space.

Not to fix you.
Not to rush you.
But to walk with you as you rebuild confidence, ease food anxiety, and reconnect to yourself after cancer.

You don’t have to wait a year.
You don’t have to push through lingering symptoms.
You don’t have to do this alone.

If this resonates, comment RESET and I’ll share next steps 🤍
