📝The American Psychological Association (APA) recently submitted a formal request to the Consumer Product Safety Commission urging investigation into the unreasonable risk of injury posed by generative artificial intelligence chatbots as consumer products.

The letter calls on the Commission to enact comprehensive safety standards, guardrails, and guidelines to protect consumers, particularly adolescents, from psychological harm.

PCI is excited to welcome Martina Mondelli, PCI Certified Parent Coach®, to our global website directory! Martina's work is deeply rooted in her own life experiences, shaped by moments of profound joy and profound loss. Martina became a mom in 2017, and in the same year lost her own mother.

Both of these experiences uncovered a strength within and were deeply transformative for her as they became the foundation for a more intentional, authentic way of living and parenting. She allowed herself to be free from external pressures and expectations and truly redefine the person and parent she wants to be.

After being in a marketing career for over 12 years, Martina left and found herself on a path that felt more aligned. She created a space for moms to connect, reflect, and support one another in Montessori environments. In this space she saw the power of compassion, empathy and presence.

Martina says, “At its core, my vocation is to help parents realign with their values, build emotional awareness, and live in alignment with their inner truth—in the beautiful and messy realities of family life.”

Firing up on cell phones as teething toys basically means wiring cell phone normalcy for future early use. It’s a form of indoctrination.

"A parent is dealing with so many feelings and needs and wants in their children and partner that the stress builds up over the course of a day."

When so many of us are taught to "just deal with it" so we don't come off as complainers, the feelings inevitably build up. Of course it's important to communicate what needs to be said, and what's equally important is to let go within our own minds.
