Today hits a little closer to home 💛

I’m set up at Nipmuc High School for a wellness event… and yes, this is my son’s school. Full circle moment.

Sharing The Wellness Path with high school students feels especially important. These kids are carrying a lot, and even small tools for grounding, body awareness, and self care can make a real difference.

So grateful to be here, to show up for this community, and to remind these students that their wellbeing matters just as much as their achievements.

Happy Thanksgiving from The Wellness Path

Today I’m taking a moment to breathe, soften my shoulders, and really feel the gratitude for everyone who walks this path with me.
Whether you come in for massage, movement, energy work, or simply follow along for a little calm in your feed, I’m grateful for you.

Thank you for trusting me with your healing, your stories, your strength, and your rest.

I’ve been spending more time creating lately and it’s reminding me how connected all of this really is. The massage therapist in me, the mover, the maker, the creator… we all speak the same language. Release. Breathe. Let something move through instead of holding it tight.

When I’m with a client, I guide their body into softness. When I’m painting, I guide myself there. These affirmation pieces have become a quiet reset for me. Layers of color and texture, intuition and breath, helping me refill my own cup in a way I didn’t realize I needed.

Art has become another form of healing. Another way I listen. Another way I let myself exhale.

This class is a place to meet yourself again.
We start with breath, then shift into intuitive exploration where each movement prompt becomes a doorway inward. These prompts aren’t instructions. They’re invitations. You choose what they become in your body.

Some people move a lot. Some hardly move at all. Both are real. Both are valid.
What matters is what you notice. The physical release that comes when your body finally lets go. The energetic unwinding that happens when you stop bracing and start listening.

This practice helps you feel what you’ve been holding and move it through with honesty and softness.

What Is Authentic Movement?

Most of us move on autopilot. We lift, stretch, teach, cue, coach, and push. But we rarely pause long enough to ask, “What does my body want right now?”

Authentic Movement is the opposite of performing. You close your eyes, breathe, and let your body lead. No right or wrong. No choreography. No pressure to look a certain way.

It’s movement that rises from sensation instead of expectation.
A quiet place to hear your own inner cues again.

Introducing MRM
MRM is the Mindy Ruddock Method, a blend of movement, recovery work, breath, and mindful awareness. It is a grounded approach to helping the body release tension and find better balance. We have chatted a little about this already, but there is so much more coming.

Stay tuned as I share more about how this method came to be and what it looks like as I begin offering it in workshops. MRM is designed to support your body and your energy in a sustainable way, whether you are a practitioner or a client. More classes and offerings are on the way.

Samhain Energy

The air feels different today, carrying both stillness and possibility. Samhain is the threshold between endings and beginnings, a time to use the energy around you for transformation.

During the day I will move slowly, letting my body guide what needs to release. Breath, stretch, or simply walk in silence. This evening I will gather that energy inward, a candle, a bath, a crystal to anchor my focus, and set one clear intention for what I want to grow through the darker months ahead.

This is a powerful time to turn inward, listen to your intuition, and use what rises to support your next chapter.

My Story

My path has been a long and winding adventure. Over time I have come to realize how much I enjoy helping people and how much it benefits my well being. In 2009 I injured my calf muscle while teaching dance, which was my first love and was faced with some difficult decisions that with out the support of my husband I do not think I could have made. It was at that time that I decided I would enroll in massage school. As I began learning how to use my hands to heal I began healing so much in myself. Positivity was returning in my everyday life and I was good at what I was doing. My healing has gone so much farther than I thought it could.

The path I am on now feels natural to me, it feels like this is what I was designed to do. I want to help women of all ages create and find wellness in their lives through healing and crystal work. If there is more you would like to know about me or The Wellness Path please reach out.
