Today we celebrate the strength, wisdom, and resilience of women everywhere.

At The Wellness Path, I have the honor of working with women who carry so much. Families, businesses, responsibilities, and the quiet weight of showing up for everyone else.

International Women’s Day is a reminder that caring for ourselves is not selfish. Rest is powerful. Healing is powerful. And when women support each other, incredible things happen.

Here’s to strong women, soft moments, deep breaths, and the courage to keep becoming.

Happy International Women’s Day.

Behind the scenes at The Wellness Path.
Before the calm room and the massage… there’s the prep.

Cleaning stones, setting the space, making sure everything is ready for the next session.

The quiet work that helps create the calm.

Some of the work happens on the table.

Some of it happens long before you arrive.

Blending oils.
Mixing teas.
Choosing ingredients with intention.

I love creating small things that support the bigger experience.
Sometimes it’s a tea blend to help you slow down after a session.
Sometimes it’s oils that help the body soften and settle.

These little rituals matter.

Wellness isn’t just something that happens during a session.

It’s something you carry with you.

Behind the scenes I’ve been creating workbooks, reflection guides, forms, and wellness tools for years to use with my clients and students.

I finally decided to start sharing some of them.

I opened a small digital space where I’ll be adding the resources I’ve created along the way.

You can explore it here:

More tools and guides will be added over time.

Before every session, there’s a reset.

Fresh linens.
Table warmed.
Stones cleaned.
Oils chosen intentionally.

The space matters more than people realize.

Your nervous system feels when a room has been rushed.
It also feels when a room has been prepared with care.

Wellness isn’t just technique.
It’s environment. It’s attention. It’s the details.

This is part of the work.

This month at The Wellness Path we’re going behind the scenes.

Not the filtered version.
The real one.

The preparation.
The learning.
The emotional labor.
The quiet resets between clients.

Because what happens on the table starts long before you arrive.

Today is World Compliment Day.

And instead of tossing around quick praise, I want this to mean something.

To the quiet ones doing the work behind the scenes, I see you.
To the ones rebuilding strength after setbacks, I see you.
To the moms juggling it all.
To the small business owners who keep showing up even when it feels heavy.
To the kids learning confidence one class at a time.

You are doing better than you think.

Not everything strong is loud.
Not everything powerful looks polished.
And not everything meaningful gets applause.

So here is your compliment.

Your consistency matters.
Your effort matters.
Your presence matters.

And if no one has told you lately, you are growing.

Drop a compliment for someone in the comments. Let’s make this thread a ripple effect of good.

Crystals.

You’ll find them in my sessions.
On the table.
In your hands.

Quietly supporting your nervous system while your body unwinds.

Grounded tools. Intentional touch. Real work.

On March 22 I am hosting a three hour in person retreat for wellness practitioners called:

Build a Practice Your Body Can Sustain

One of the core topics we will be discussing is client boundaries.

Not the obvious ones.
The subtle ones.

The extra 10 minutes you just give.
The last minute reschedule you allow again.
The late night messages you answer because you feel responsible.
The pressure to squeeze someone in even when your body says no.

Over time, those small moments become physical fatigue.
Emotional resentment.
A schedule that quietly stops supporting you.

During this retreat we will look at where your boundaries are leaking energy and how to reset them in a way that feels clear, professional, and sustainable.

Boundaries are not about being rigid.
They are about protecting your longevity.

If you are a wellness practitioner and this feels familiar, this space was created for you.

Limited to 12 participants.
Investment is $125.

Comment RETREAT for details.

To the practitioner finishing a long day

Before you answer one more message.
Before you plan next week.
Before you mentally replay every session.

Pause.
Shake out your hands.
Take one deep breath into your ribs.
Let your shoulders drop.
You carried stories today.

You moved energy today.
You absorbed more than you think.
Clear it. Release it.

It does not belong to you.

Go home as yourself.

As spa owners build their teams, I keep coming back to one thing.

Burnout prevention starts early.

It starts with pacing.
With communication.
With protecting practitioner energy before it is already depleted.

This is the work I am leaning into more intentionally right now. Supporting practitioner sustainability while strengthening the overall client experience inside spa settings.

Culture is shaped at the beginning. The tone you set as a leader matters more than you think.

If you are building something and want thoughtful support around that foundation, I am here.

My Story

My path has been a long and winding adventure. Over time I have come to realize how much I enjoy helping people and how much it benefits my well being. In 2009 I injured my calf muscle while teaching dance, which was my first love and was faced with some difficult decisions that with out the support of my husband I do not think I could have made. It was at that time that I decided I would enroll in massage school. As I began learning how to use my hands to heal I began healing so much in myself. Positivity was returning in my everyday life and I was good at what I was doing. My healing has gone so much farther than I thought it could.

The path I am on now feels natural to me, it feels like this is what I was designed to do. I want to help women of all ages create and find wellness in their lives through healing and crystal work. If there is more you would like to know about me or The Wellness Path please reach out.
