(They always ask to go to their house) Gary is a dedicated supporter of Bellwood-Antis football and enjoys four wheeling, hunting, grass mowing, sports, spending time with his family, traveling to Dollywood and the beach, and working as a car mechanic. Gary is also part of the Bellwood Excelsior fire company.

Kidneys are by far the organ in greatest demand for life-saving transplants.

Gift of Life coordinated the most kidney transplants in U.S. history (1,017), thanks to the extraordinary generosity of our community during 2022.

The majority of people on the national waitlist need a kidney transplant because of kidney disease and other serious conditions such as diabetes and hypertension. Many of these patients spend years on dialysis, waiting for the gift of life.

Althea Fogle is one of those people from Gift of Life's region who received a life-saving kidney transplant this past year. Shortly after retiring in 2019, Althea landed on the waitlist due to stage 5 kidney disease. She is alive today thanks to the generosity of her donor hero.

“I can’t thank God enough for my donor family, for their benevolence. Without them, I wouldn’t be here,” she says.

Happy birthday to the best Uncle there is! He is always there to help someone in need and has always been like a second father to my sister and I. I know my four children love him to pieces and always love visiting him and Aunt Doris. (Aunt Doris and Uncle Gary don’t spoil them at all 😂)

Please wish him the happiest of birthdays and pray a kidney will be found for him. He deserves one so much and is one of the best guys out there 💙
