Crossroads of Decisions
Sometimes we find ourselves at points of decisions.
It matters greatly what we do in at these decision points. We have to create a way in which we are thinking about and making our decisions. Many great leaders have their process! What is yours?
At major decisions points we are sometimes overwhelmed, but we can draw insight from examples that we study. When I look at certain biblical figures they did what they had experience with in their relationship with God. At these points: Moses went to the tent of meeting; David said bring me the ephod; Elisha said bring me a ministrel; the Apostles called a prayer meeting. Jesus got alone with the father to watch His movement.
What do you do? Jesus said that the spirit will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all things”. Would that include the path you are to take?
In decision points in my life, I have often looked in the spirit down the different paths to see if I could catch a glimpse of the movements of the Lord or even the trains of his glory. Sometimes, I could see it and I would pursue but others times I looked for his footprints or the disturbed earth, or I could hear the distant sound of his voice or the rustling. Standing in the moment of decision it sometimes overwhelms you and crushes you. So, we have to have the mechanisms in our life that have been tried and have become true in our walk, like His voice.
In the end we walk this walk courageously by faith in what we have heard. “The just shall live by faith” From the beginning to the end of my life I shall walk by faith”.
