✨TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY✨

I have never been consistent with an exercise routine. I have done a lot of walking, including lots of 1/2 marathons in many states, and occasionally went to the gym where I would mostly walk on the treadmill. I was great at starting, but even better at quitting.
My daughter-in-law told me about Burn and I was pretty hesitant to join for two reasons. First I need to have a knee replaced, and secondly I am OLD. I saw posts with so much jumping, lunges, and running, all of which I can’t do, so I was afraid to even start.
I joined as a founding member without even doing a single camp, hoping it would break my cycle of quitting. I did my first camp on December 10, 2024. I did everything body weight because even 10 pounds was too much.
After a few weeks I started to see progress. Now a year plus later, I see results. I have more energy, I look forward to camp, I sleep better, and I am more confident. I don’t believe in scales but from old photos I can see l am getting stronger.
Burn has changed me more than how I look, it is how I feel. I love walking into the gym and seeing people who inspire me to be a better version of myself. I love the community and truly enjoy being part of the event committee. I was super proud to hit my 250th camp in 2025 and will hit 300 lifetime camps in February.
My family is my entire world and I want to be around for many more years to come. I am not only a single mom of 3 adult children, but have 4 grandchildren! I look around the gym and think I am 3 times older than some of the people I am working out with. And while I can’t keep up, I keep showing up. I want to be here for my family and Burn is going to help me do just that!
