P4 Endurance Coaching

P4 Endurance Coaching Triathlon Coaching, Run Coaching, Bike Coaching, Endurance Sports Coaching Triathlon has been a way to challenge myself, giving my body variety in training.

I am an Age-Group Athlete who has been participating in triathlons since 2010, including Ironman Lake Tahoe, Vineman Full, Honu 70.3, Boise 70.3, Lake Stevens 70.3 and the Los Angeles Marathon. I ran track and cross country in high school, then took a short hiatus from running after high school to focus on cycling. I completed my first triathlon in 2010. I had no idea what I was getting myself into or that this would turn into my passion. While training for triathlons over the past 3 years, I also pursued culinary school at Cascade Culinary Institute as a way to feed the machine we call our bodies. This has helped perform better in races and training. I am certified as a USAT Level I Coach and a USA Cycling Level 3 Coach. As a coach, I pride myself with constant, open, and consistent communication with my clients, which in turn helps them reach their goals by implementing correct periodization techniques throughout each training block. I believe that the mind and the athlete's way of thinking has just as much of an effect on racing as does the physical training we do. My goal is to help my clients succeed by discovering ways to help them break through the mental side of training by giving them workouts that are challenging on the body and mind but also that they are able to achieve. Whether YOU want to complete your first Sprint Triathlon, PR at the Ironman Distance, complete your first 5k, marathon or your first Ultra Trail Race, this plan will get YOU there. Daily review of training log

Training Peaks Account

Pacing and Nutrition strategies for races and key workouts

Detailed workouts to include specifics related to each of your workouts. Heart Rate Zones and Rate of Perceived Effort and Power Zones on the Bike

Field Tests to determine your current fitness and to see how the training is helping YOU get the results YOU want. Results come with consistency and hardwork. Their is no quick fix to be successful.

$150/ per 4 week block

Hardest thing for me to do when coming back from being injured is being patient.... I have not been able to run much since I injured my foot back in June.... still have yet to figure out what the issue is.... Yes I did just do 110k running race... but I was in pain for a great majority of the race and had to walk most of it!

Find ways to make your training FUN or YOU will burnout eventually... Find groups to go running with or go hiking with the family...... You don't have to suffer all the time.... For me, I have found my fun on the Trails Running and Mountain Biking.... What Part of the training is fun for YOU?

Instead of the same training routing, switch it up. Discover how much fun endurance training can be.
