Such an incredible day of transformations yesterday! My cup is so full!

I had the incredible pleasure of many to glam up another beautiful client (hair, custom blend and makeup) with Marsha Lane Foster. (Not pictured by client request) Her before and after was absolutely stunning!!!! 🥰❤️

Shortly afterwards, I had a blast with the staff and clients at Salon VERVE for their first Galentine’s event and it was a HUGE success!! 3 blends done and a Sip & Blend event booked!!

Thank you so much Tiyler Renee Leichner for being so welcoming and for trusting me with your blend! I had so much fun with you ladies, and can’t wait to do another pop-up in the near future!

Emergency order filled just in time for her trip… and I’m honestly still smiling. 🥹

One of my clients messaged me with the worst news…

She lost her entire TSA makeup bag while traveling.
Like… everything gone. Foundation. Concealer. Essentials. All of it.

And she had 3 huge events coming up and was leaving town.

I could literally feel the stress through the screen because let’s be real… when you’re already juggling travel, family, work, and LIFE… the last thing you want is to feel like you’re starting from scratch.😩

So I told her, “Don’t worry… I’ve got you.” 🙏🏾❤️

And what’s wild is… I literally JUST received a shipment of extra palettes and skincare the day before. (Bc these are one of my fave full face palettes for personal use and for my clients as well)

God’s timing is never random.

So I pulled what she needed, rebuilt her essentials, and got everything ready immediately so she could leave feeling confident, prepared, and taken care of.

Her response?

“You’re a lifesaver. I’m so grateful.”

And I just sat there thinking…

This is why I do what I do.

Not just to blend makeup…
but to serve people.
to be a solution.
to remind women they’re supported.

Because sometimes the “small” things feel huge when you’re already carrying a lot.

So I’m grateful today.
Grateful for clients who trust me.
Grateful I was able to help.
Grateful God always makes a way.

And sis… if you’re reading this… you are going to look STUNNING at every event next week.

Daughter — 1

She didn’t complain.
She didn’t quit.
She led with gratitude and took action.

One referral later…
Blend earned. 💪🏽💄

Y’all, parenting teens while teaching real-life accountability is a whole ministry in itself. 😅

But moments like this? Absolutely worth it.

I can’t wait for her to see her surprise on her vanity in the morning.❤️❤️

A Day in the Life of a Certified Custom Blend Artist + Mom of a Teenager:

My sweet oldest daughter came to me recently for a newly blended foundation and concealer after her April blend from last year finally ran out.

At the time, she went above and beyond, way past her normal chores, to earn that blend.

Fast forward…

She accidentally spilled her brand-new bottle inside her makeup bag. 😩

So naturally, she came back to me asking if I could replace it.

I told her:

“You’re going to start blending foundations as a side hustle or bring in referrals as an apprentice to earn commissions, so you can cover your refills, your hair appointments with me, and build real business, leadership, and organizational skills that will serve you long-term.”

Her response?

“I’ve been trying to send people to you… they just haven’t committed yet.”

👀

So now I’m curious…

What would YOU do?

A.) Replace the foundation, as accidents happen
B.) Wait until she does the work to cover her expenses
C.) Split the cost this time and hold the boundary going forward
D.) Something else… (tell me in the comments)

Because parenting teens while raising capable, accountable adults is… an art form.🤦🏾‍♀️🤣
