🌟 Honoring Our Heroes this Veterans Day 🇺🇸

Today, we pause to express our deepest gratitude to the brave men and women who have served our country. Your sacrifice and dedication have protected the freedoms we hold dear.

At Galligan's Goal Getters, we believe in supporting our veterans not just today, but every day. This Veterans Day, we invite you to join us in recognizing their courage and commitment.

Most of you know, but some of you may not, my son William was diagnosed with autism two months after his second birthday in 2006. No one can truly brace you for it. The life you imagined shifts and priorities change. Adapt and grow is your only choice. I was fortunate to have an incredible support system of family, friends and an amazing behaviorists/teachers/aides. Despite the dream team I had, we faced insurmountable challenges and learned very tough life lessons that I do not wish on anyone. Many of which I will share in future videos. Fast forward to November of 2010, I received a pamphlet in the mail from my grad school about their occupational therapy masters program and was accepted on Christmas Eve. Unforeseen life events put my dreams on hold but I graduated from the program and am ecstatic to be an occupational therapist. The special needs community has a big place in my heart and I want to help families in any way I can.
