This little neighborhood spot is good every time. They went out of their way to give us outdoor seating when it wasn’t on our reservation, and the food is on point every time we go. Pictured here is the lamb and risotto and the little gem salad.

Gorgeous, balanced, delicious food at . So impressed with Palestinian American Chef Mona’s vision for the food and the ambience is superb. Get a reservation! It was packed on a weekday lunch.

I wish I had taken photos of the interior because is gorgeous inside. Spacious, modern, a great place to do work (I wish I was writing another book). Plus the food was delicious and full of veggies and bright colors. And I ran into a fave person here so it was a more amazing experience! The menu changes regularly so you will never be bored :)

I found another delicious gluten free bread from in Novato! Their Teff Chia seed bread is moist and delicious! It was fluffy in a way many gluten free breads are not. You can purchase online too!

So excited to have food xiao long bao so close. Was stoked to eat after hipline class the other day! I would order just the xiao long bao and some of their salads and that would be a great lunch. Forgot to take a pic of the zha jiang mian that had the perfect QQ texture.

We’ve eaten at twice now, and have been twice stoked. Partly from the amazing music that kept us bobbing our heads and the on point ambience. We really enjoyed a few of their dishes, def try the chicken liver and waffles, the pork neck, grits and greens were all favorites. We ate the whole apple crisp before I could take a picture. We love having such a good place close by in Temescal!

rounds out a perfect day hiking in Marin. We did an amazing 6 mile in Samual P Taylor over the holiday weekend and streets and hikes were empty of people, but Sol food was still crowded on a Friday at 3 pm!
The rice and beans alone are so flavorful here, my usual go to is the bistec encebollado, but we branched out into a sandwich and a pork chop. All delicious. And their lime-aid is a must. Take their simple salad dressing home with you.
It’s hard to read but read the letter in last slide. It was posted outside the restaurant. Basically someone complaining about their lime green paint choose and vowing never to eat there again.

Super delicious flavors ! It was so fun to taste the mix of Thai flavors with beautiful high quality produce. The fingerling potato in the Massaman Curry was incredible!
We had the fried dover sol, the Massaman Curry, and squid salad. Great service and speedy dishes!
Great for people who like spice :)

What a cute place to get coffee in Alameda!! has amazing views, super friendly staff, and standard cafe offerings like croissants and sandwiches but they are pretty tasty. Lots of parking by the marina and lots of outdoor seating.

is so incredibly delicious. These pics are from two dinners and the first time we went there we had no idea it was vegan! It had so much buzz and it’s worth the hype. The flavors are bright and full of umami. Lovely produce and so many surprises. Love it.

was SO incredible. I’ve been trying to eat here forever and thank goodness my orthodontist is in Novato so now I have the opportunity to pass through San Rafael. Call ahead and give yourself about 45 min before you need to pick up. The pork belly melted, and the veggie sides were substantial. Great Asian fusion flavors.
