Sometimes when you're praying, and things feel unanswered, you're actually getting what you prayed for....God doesn't just give you what you want straight out - sometimes it is set in front of you, to fight for it and become it.

It was a strange start to the year but then God intervened. My physical, mental, and emotional health and wealth it finally coming under control, my vision is set back on the things I truly want, AND I have a partner in crime in which to accomplish it all.

Fitness. Music. Health. Grief. Recovery. Fasting. Pursuit. ETC. - all in and towards God's glory. More to come, for the first time in a long time 🙌

Happy Heavenly Birthday to

Today would have marked your 39th birthday. For whatever reason I've had the 3rd year since your passing as some sort of subconscious milestone. In part to allow myself time to properly grieve. Also in part to allow myself to come to term with life after you being here. What I have found is: 1. I never could have imagined how much reconciling my isolation actually fortified my faith - I have never understood it and God's promise more than in trying to make sense of you not being here. 2. Leaning into that faith, and submitting to what God has best for me, has unlocked a Chris 2.0 that I had always desired to be. For that I am thankful eternally. I am truly in a position now to have everything that I have ever wanted.

One thing I am going to make good on, as a promise to myself, is finishing the book the explain our decade together. Only in it can people perhaps understand how our time together helped me have a real wrestle out of depression and slingshot into a head of household perspective. But even moreso has yielded that in the end, God is still in control. Tell your Mom I said "wassup" and I will make sure that the world gets to have some insight into your story and legacy.
