In celebration of OT month, I'd love to introduce one of the lovely occupational therapists that we are lucky to have on our team. Meet Becca Grandi and show her some love for OT month :)
Rebecca (Becca) Grandi and her husband Matt have been a part of Fulton County since 2009. After getting married, they moved to Hustontown, where they have felt at home ever since, and are now raising their three boys ages 10 and 8-year-old twins.
As a family, and with their pup, they enjoy any adventure that comes their way…especially ones that involve being in the mountains, sitting around a fire, or just spending time together and exploring the outdoors. They also love spending time with family and friends, playing baseball, riding dirt bikes, and tending to their little goat herd and rescued cats.
Becca is a 2006 graduate of Elizabethtown College, where she earned her Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. She has been practicing occupational therapy since 2006, with most of her experience being in pediatrics. For the past 4 years, she has been an evaluating therapist for the Fulton/Franklin Early Intervention program, with a recent change to be a treating occupational therapist with Moving Mountains Pediatric Therapy. Becca has always enjoyed working with children and their families, helping them learn the needed skills to develop and thrive. Becca states that “one of the biggest rewards of working for MMPT Early Intervention, is getting a front row seat to watching a child thrive and succeed with the help of his or her family. Nothing beats seeing them so proud of themselves for every little step they make towards their goals as a family.” Becca has always had a passion for working with children and is looking forward to being a part of the MMPT therapy team, serving our local community’s children and their families.
Becca I am so happy to have you working with us!!
