Just some personal insite into my world after having a radical hysterectomy

Some days, my body feels foreign, like I’m visiting a home that used to be mine, but the furniture has been rearranged without asking.

Hormone imbalance is not just numbers on a lab report. It’s the sudden tears, the foggy brain, the snug jeans that fit last week. It’s the deep exhaustion that sleep can’t fix and the war between patience and frustration within my own skin. Its finding a doctor who will listen with their heart and not just their knowledge. Feeling seen and heard in my own questions and needs and remembering my body needs my Grace and love above all else.

But in the quiet moments when I’m not chasing perfection, I’ve found tiny rituals that bring me back to myself.

I crafted my milk baths, body butters, and ritual soaps not just as products, but as medicine of remembrance. A way to soften the hard edges. To honor my body, even when it feels like it’s betraying me.

The lather, the scent, the warm water, it’s not a cure. But it’s care. And right now, that matters just as much.

I’m learning to meet myself with grace. Every time I pause to nourish my skin, I’m whispering,“You are not broken. You are becoming.”
