9 mo old Levi was diagnosed November 27 2012 with AML leukemia. This is in addition to the normal side effects of chemotherapy. YAY!!! We appreciate the prayers!!

Since his diagnosis he has had major complications from sepsis, high fevers, breathing and heart rate issues and infections. UPDATE: March 22, Levi got to go home - all 4 rounds of chemo completed! He will continue to be monitored for 1 year with clinical visits; his bone marrow biopsy came back clear, so he is officially in REMISSION. UPDATE: 2/9/13 - Round 3 of chemo is completed, and other than some vomiting and a little diarrhea, this champ is still going strong. Jan. 22 - Levi and his mommy got to go to their NEW HOME and spend some time away from the hospital and its food, and a day at the beach was in store as well for this little guy and his family. Since Levi completed Round 1 of chemo, which was AWFUL, his family was apprehensive about Round 2. But Levi proved to be tougher than chemo drugs, and he sailed right through it. He eats, drinks, plays, and always smiles. His mommy & daddy got him a walker so he can move around more in his hospital room, and up and down the corridor on his floor. He is amazing - he seems to always be happy and has a smile for everyone - especially the female nurses, care givers, doctors, and patients! Just wanted to post a lil hero update Levi is amazing he still has some residual heath issues but Cancer isn’t one ! He has come into his own he and his daddy recently got their ears pierced together. I sit here and of course Facebook brings me the memories of his 1st Christmas there in Childrens not knowing if the Lord would let me keep him my heart goes out to everyone dealing with a sick child keep your heads up and your children wrapped in prayers God Bless You all and Merry Christmas 💙

Levi today playing that Roblox ! He’s a big 4 th grader now he still has to overcome challenges everyday from the chemotherapy he received so young but he pushes thru it💙
