Today we’re in Madison for evaluation as part of the process with Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. Another step forward in this journey.

This photo really captures the moment — taking a pause, looking ahead, and staying focused on what’s to come. Being on the transplant waiting list for a deceased donor is a blessing, but it’s also a waiting game. We are holding onto hope every single day.

We are also continuing to pray and search for a living donor. Thank you all for the constant support, prayers, and for sharing this journey with us.

In April it will be 4 years.

That’s how long Billy has been on dialysis… tied to a machine, waiting for a second chance at life.

Yes, he’s on the transplant list—but a deceased donor kidney can take years. Time he’s already been giving, day after day.

We are desperately praying for a living donor. Someone who could change everything… someone who could give Billy his life back.

And if you’re scared—please know this: living donors are protected. If they ever need a kidney in the future, they are pushed to the top of the list and made priority.
