We’re excited to welcome Jake to our Crestwood clinic! Jake is a second-year PT student at UAB, joining us for a 5-week clinical rotation. Originally from Trinity, Alabama, he earned his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from UAH. When he’s not in the clinic, he enjoys playing video games and going on walks. In today's world, most of us spend a great deal of time hunched over while sitting at a desk, driving, or looking at a screen. This makes it easy to fall into forward posture: head sticking out, shoulders rounding, and hips tightening. This posture weakens your posterior chain (your glutes, hamstrings, and back), affecting how you move, feel, and even breathe.

✅ Feet flat on the floor
✅ Knees at a 90-degree angle
✅ Back is supported by the chair
