When Bill McCarty founded Shear Pointe Hair Restoration Center in Birmingham, Michigan, he built it on the belief that restoring hair meant restoring confidence.
For many years, Roger Lumley stood beside Bill as a trusted partner, helping shape the early foundation of Shear Pointe. Together, they established the standards of craftsmanship, integrity, and care that defined the practice for literally decades (and to this day).
In 1999, Bill passed leadership of Shear Pointe to his son, Scott McCarty. With that transition came a new chapter, but with an enduring mission and vision. Scott carried forward the values his father instilled, guiding Shear Pointe into its next generation of growth and innovation.
