Our prayers go out to everyone that has been affected by the tornadoes today. Our building has sustained damage. We will be working remote for the next few weeks. It is with great regret that I am writing to inform you about the cancellation of our Annual Education and Training Conference which was set to be held on May 14th thru May 15th, 2020. This has been an extremely hard decision, but we feel that it is the right thing to do this year. We hope that each of you remain safe and healthy during this time. If you have made hotel reservations, please make sure to cancel them as soon as possible.

We look forward to seeing you again in 2021 and hope to have meeting dates soon.

Providers please make sure that you are reviewing your Audit\277ca reports for Palmetto. We have had a few offices where their entire batche rejected. The fix is easy, email michelle@mssus.com if you have not received a 277ca report back from Palmetto and you transmitted Friday 2/23.

Dear PC-ACE Providers,

We have been receiving an overwhelming amount of calls with questions & concerns regarding the Medicare JJ Transition to Palmetto.
Ability is making changes for the January 2018 release (3.7, quarterly update) that will support the Medicare migration to the Palmetto build. We have yet to receive all the details of what will be needed. However, if you are receiving this email you should not apply for early boarding during the remainder of 2017. It will be a much smoother transition if you wait until the January 2018 release is available before early boarding. For now, please hold tight and DO NOT apply for early boarding.

As soon as I know any new information I will pass it along.

Holiday Announcement: Good Friday 2017
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama will be closed Friday, April 14, 2017, in observance of Good Friday. Claims received after 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2017, will be acknowledged on audit reports available Friday, April 14, 2017.

As a reminder, ProviderAccess is available 24/7 including holidays, with the exception of occasional Sundays when maintenance is performed. EFT and remittances will not be affected. EDI functions through your practice management software (e.g., eligibility and benefits, claim submission) will also not be impacted.
