Eli is a loyal friend and a proud big brother to two siblings. He enjoys therapeutic horseback riding, spending time with his service dog, and diving into a good book. 🐴🐾📖

Today we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

At Autism Support of Alabama, we reflect on Dr. King’s message of inclusion, dignity, and service to others. His vision of a world rooted in understanding and compassion reminds us of the importance of creating communities where everyone is valued, supported, and given the opportunity to thrive.

As we remember his words and work, may we continue striving for kindness, equity, and unity in all that we do.

“Everybody can be great, because everybody can serve.” – Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Meet Ben Allen, a bright and driven 14-year-old who was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder at age 6.

Ben dreams big — he loves watching YouTube and hopes to become a YouTuber himself! He’s also discovered a passion for photography, taking a top-tier class at school to sharpen his skills. 🎥📷

A straight-A student, Ben is full of big ideas, a love for people, and a strong sense of right and wrong. He brings joy and inspiration to his school.

Ben reminds us that every child on the spectrum is unique, capable, and full of potential. 💙
