I completed my Bachelor's degree in Biology at Vanderbilt University, where I focused on cellular and molecular biology with an emphasis on reproductive physiology. My
Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences was awarded by Duke University in 2000, where I focused on hormonal regulation in male reproductive health. Afterward, I pursued a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), specializing in reproductive endocrinology, particularly in innovative hormonal therapies for male sexual dysfunction. Currently, I am the Director of Research at the UAB Menโs Health Clinic in Birmingham, Alabama. I lead a team dedicated to advancing research and clinical trials focused on improving men's health, particularly related to sexual dysfunction and hormone therapies. I collaborate with hospitals, universities, and other researchers to push the boundaries of what we know and improve the lives of men through innovative treatments. I have a deep passion for improving the quality of life for men, and my work is driven by the desire to make a meaningful impact. Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to receive recognition for my research, and I continue to be motivated by the opportunity to make a difference in the field of men's health.
