Rolfing® Structural Integration (SI) is a holistic, comprehensive method of hands-on therapy created by Ida P. SI aims to restore flexibility, improve posture and release chronic pain. SI revitalizes your energy and leaves you feeling freer and more at ease in your body. More than fifty years ago, Dr. Rolf recognized that the body is inherently a system of seamless networks of tissues rather than a collection of separate parts. These connective tissues surround, support and penetrate all of the muscles, bones, nerves and organs. SI works to reorganize this web-like complex of connective tissues reducing compensations, alleviating pain, and altering one's relationship with gravity. In an organized body, there is more adaptability and less effort required to deal with the stresses of life. Athletes, office workers and yogis can all benefit from Terence's keen eye to get a fix on their various imbalances and their sources. He is also a certified Iyengar Yoga instructor. His vast knowledge of the mechanics of yoga asanas (postures) and his ability to recognize and alleviate disorder in a body has him now serving in DC as 'The Yogis' Rolfer'.
