This has been heavy on my heart
I recently found out that someone I know died by su***de, and it reminded me how much women, especially women of color, carry in silence.
We are strong.
We are caregivers.
We are the glue.
And too often, we don’t say when we’re hurting.
Being strong doesn’t mean you’re okay.
And silence is not the same as peace.
I want to say this with love: ending your life is not the answer. Your life matters. Your presence matters—especially when there are children who still need you.
This isn’t judgment.
This is permission.
Permission to say, “I’m not okay.”
Permission to ask for help.
If you need someone, I’m here. I love you.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18
You are not alone. God sees you. God hears you. And help is closer than you think.
Please check on your strong friends.
Please speak up.
Please choose life.
