I have people tell me all the time how well adjusted their adopted children are. I also have comments from people telling me they know adoptees who are just fine with being adopted. I have been running a private Facebook group for adoptees for over five years. In theses spaces, adoptees can speak their truth. They don’t tell everyone how they feel. Just because you know an adoptee and they haven’t said anything to you about how they feel doesn’t mean they don’t have those feelings.
