Where are my bare feet beauties? In the grass or dirt, toes and heals digging in to the ground.
It is a beautiful thing to experience and I will do it daily during ALL seasons. It is necessary. No matter what the naysayers say.
Genesis 2:7 Then the Lord God formed a man[a] from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being
Psalm 139:14, I am fearfully and wonderfully made (I have this posted in the new treatment room too!)
You may be asking ... HOW ON EARTH (no pun intended) does this relate to healthy skin??
Well, my bright and shining beauties ... because grounding has been proven to regulate hormones. Cortisol is a biggie. It helps to calm our nervous system down and puts us where we belong, in rest and digest, not fight or flight. This helps to reduce inflammation, promote detox, help with better deeper sleep, improve circulation.
ALL which lead to glowing and vibrant healthy youthful skin.
So, right now... go on... take off those shoes (hopefully you are wearing zero/barefeet shoes!) and go stand in the sunshine with those toes digging into the earth. Close your eyes, look up and just stop to thank God for today. All your blessings, His love, the love you have for yourself and for that sunshine hitting your face (bonus - you are getting a decent dose of Vit D!).
