How Mama's Dragons came to be...

Barbara was looking a patterns for dragons on line and came across Yoki the Dragon by Mariska Vos-Bolman. Both Barbara and Ori are disabled and have very little income. Barbara posted on her page if someone wanted to buy the pattern for her, she would make them a Dragon. Tammy said she wanted a dragon made for her little boy Rowan, who has many medical issues and she wanted the dragon for him to have someone to have in the hospital with him. Bartholomew is a very special Dragon, his coat of purple with peace signs all over him...to bring peace to Rowan in his times of need. Barbara and Ori fell in love with Rowan and his family and wanted to find a way to help other children in need...Mama's Dragons is born. We sell Dragons to those who desire and a huge portion of the money raised helps buy more materials to make Dragons for other Children. The cost of each Dragon is $100. The materials are $40-50 depending on the cost of the fleece. It takes 2 full days for each dragon to be completed. There is a lot of hand sewing involved. As stated a large portion of the monies from the sale of the dragons will go to buy the materials and shipping costs for the Dragons that will be donated to other children going through many medical issues like Rowan. If you know of a child going through medical issues who would benefit from one of these Dragons, please contact us.

The Secret to Making the Perfect Chocolate & Peanut Butter No Bake Cookies
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
4 tablespoons cocoa
1 cup creamy peanut butter
3 cups instant oats
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
Instructions:
In a medium sauce pan, add butter, sugar, milk and cocoa. Place on medium heat.
While you wait for the mixture to begin to boil, measure out your peanut butter and oats and have your vanilla jar handy. (once this process gets started – you have to work quickly)
Bring the mixture in the sauce pan to a rolling boil – once it is at a full boil – boil for 1 minute and 15 seconds.
Remove from the heat immediately.
Add in the peanut butter – stir. Add in the oats – stir. Add in the vanilla – stir.
Drop by tablespoons onto baking sheets lined with wax paper.
Let cool for 30 minutes or until set.
Enjoy!
