🌿In between the rain showers and my weeding chores, I caught the sweetest moment by our barn. A bird family moved into our birdhouse, and today Mama bird had lunch ready for her babies while Papa bird watched nearby, as if he were on standby for any papa duties. It felt like nature’s sweetest Mother’s Day card ✨Then, in another moment, 1 curious baby bird peeked out from the birdhouse, eager to see the big world beyond the nest. Mama bird watched from a distance, almost as if she were saying, “Slow down, little one. Don’t be in such a hurry to fly away.” With many graduations happening this month, I wonder how many moms feel the same way.
My grandparents love watching birds, and I used to think it was for older people. But after today, I understand. I guess I’m a birder now🐦…and maybe getting older, too😁. Wishing all the moms a very happy Mother’s Day from the Baby Bear Farm bird family and from us. See you at Dog Bowl Market in Roanoke on Sunday, May 17th from 11-4 pm. With love 💜, Amy
