Now Hiring In-Home Personal Care Attendants and Home Health Aides

A Personal Care Attendant is responsible for assisting Helping Hands Care Service clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, ambulation, and otherwise providing support to a client so that he or she may continue to live independently. A Personal Care Attendant may also provide companion and chore services with the goal of meeting a clientโs emotional and environmental needs. A Personal Care Attendant must demonstrate a commitment to customer service and a team mentality.

โข High school diploma or GED equivalency
โข At least 18 years of age
โข Reliable transportation, valid drivers license
โข Clean criminal history and driverโs record
๐๐ผ๐บ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐/๐ฆ๐ธ๐ถ๐น๐น ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐พ๐๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐:
โข Knowledge and understanding of attendant care and companion services
โข Strong written and verbal communication skills, including being able to read, write and speak English
โข Ability to meet physical demands of the position
โข Excellent interpersonal skills
โข Mature and responsible judgment needed to assist client in meeting his or her goals and ensure confidentiality at all times
โข Ability to follow direction and accurately report to supervisor issues or changes in clientโs condition
โข Ability to use assistive equipment, including Hoyer lift and wheelchairs

Position requires the ability to walk, sit, stand; lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds unassisted and 350 pounds with assistance; squat, bend, reach and stretch.
