Looking back….over 7 years.

National DPC Day, November 1, 2025.

Thought I would end the day with
“JUST SOME” of my FAVE DPC Memories
From the Clinic Years…the thing about it is…
these are just the “icing on the cake.” 🎂
There are soooo MANY more that I cannot even get to….

Thank you to all my Patients and all of my HH Medical Teammates for ALL of the memories,
as I ended my 30s and started the beginning of my 40s.

Man, I sure did look younger when I started this, my 30s seem so loooong ago! lol 😂

National DPC Day, November1st, 2025.

Vance Lassey, MD the Physician and Owner of Holton Direct Care, in Holton Kansas…
is honestly one of the best Doctors and speakers that I know. He closed out the 2019 DPC Summit with an exceptional talk that year and we all showed our “carrot” videos/photos on his final reel.

The talk was based off of the childrens book,
The Carrot Seed | Little Learning Lane…
The main themes of The Carrot Seed are patience, perseverance, and self-belief.
The story of a boy who faithfully tends to a carrot seed despite the doubts of his family illustrates that with diligence and conviction, you can achieve your goals. It also touches on the themes of individuality and hard work, showing how standing by your own knowledge can lead to success even when others are skeptical.

After 1 yr…3 yrs…even 7 yrs…plus COVID yrs…and a 2020 baby despite starting this “dream practice” with all “independent” kiddos…
Some days it’s HARD to get up and do this thing we call DPC and self employment every day,

But is it worth it? Yes.
Would medicine be hard somehwere else? Yes.
Would it be harder? Quite possibly so.
Would you enjoy it as much? Nah. ☺️

Well, a few weeks ⏰ have gone by…
since Boss’s Day, as time sure flies when you’re having 🤩FUN….

It is the start of a NEW month and a NEW time in HEALTHcare, so what BETTER DAY,

NOVEMBER 1st,

and WAY to say THANK YOU to my very own
DPC team for my beautiful flowers and
(ironically) carrot 🥕 cake…

then to post my

❤️gratitude AND 😌gratefulness

on the INAUGURAL 2025…NATIONAL DPC DAY !!
