Summer is almost upon us and there’s nothing quite like playing and listening to music outdoors! I’d like to know if you would be interested in joining me for a morning music class outside at Normandy Village.

“A Little Summer Music” is an outdoor summer music and movement program for kids ages 0-6 and their grown ups. This interest form is for the Normal, IL location. Class will be held outdoors near the clinic’s location at Normandy Village (a map of One Normal Plaza with location details will be provided).

This interest form is to get a general head count for the summer program and is not the official enrollment. Please complete the form with your information and number of kiddos who would like to participate, and Julie will follow up with you when class enrollment opens!

Details:

-9:30am Bi-weekly Fridays in June & July starting on June 5th.

-$15 each month covers both classes - add a sibling for $5

-Class will run for 30-40minutes.

Summer is practically here!

The music therapy program is getting popular at the El Paso District Library in El Paso, Illinois. I’d love to offer an outdoor program similar to this during the summer months. Music at the park sounded like such a lovely idea and I’d love to hear your feedback!

This program would be for kids 0-6 and their grown ups. Please follow the link and complete the form if this is something you may be interested in. If we have enough interest, I will follow up with you when enrollment opens for the program.

Happy Holidays! Please note 🎶 the holiday schedule. If you haven’t already, please check your inbox if you have a lesson or session that falls on one of these dates. I will be available by phone/email if you have any questions.

The last year was filled with so many new experiences as a clinician, teacher, business owner and human being. In 2025 I transitioned my students and individual clients to my first studio space in Normandy Village. I commuted around Bloomington-Normal and the greater Peoria area to nursing facilities, schools, day programs, recreation centers, libraries, play centers, preschools and client’s homes. My caseload grew and I grew with every new, unique experience.

I am so thankful for all of my wonderful clients, students, collaborators and helpers in this community. Without you, there would be no Harmonium Music Therapy. I am looking forward to new opportunities next year—including supervising my first practicum student starting in January!!!

Thank you all for being a part of this amazing journey with me! I’ll see you all next year 😀

Teen songwriting is back! 🎶

Join us in January for our ✨wicked-cool ✨ theme where we will analyze lyrics, discuss, re-write, re-create songs & play games around a different theme each month. Great for teens who have never played an instrument before but have a passion for songwriting or enjoy music! Lead by a licensed and board-certified Music Therapist, this group promotes self-expression and social awareness in a fun and accessible way. Recommended for ages 13-18.

Time: Thursdays in January from 4:30-5:30pm
Rates: $10 per session or $30 for all 4 groups! (Tuition assistance available!)
