Wilmer had a little hospital adventure tonight but he's stable now! Pray that the transplant/BP med levels and his body chemistry sort themselves out.

Tomorrow he heads back to Nashville for two days.

Fashion king.
Just a few more infusions to go. Wilmer is progressing through his treatments and infusions and will hopefully be released for a local stay (in Nashville) on Saturday!

Tonight's treatment is kicking my butt. It'll be worth it. Watching both Top Gun movies to distract myself.

Wednesday Update:
Wilmer is healing wonderfully! He's in minimal pain and his new kidney is busy. We'll be here a little while yet but we do not feel alone. Your love and prayers are felt! We could not do this without all the friends and family who have stepped up in so many ways to help! Thank you!!!

Exciting news—The Kidney Project was awarded $1 million from KidneyX for being a winner of the Artificial Kidney Prize Phase 2! Our team is advancing the prototype of the implantable bioartificial kidney towards a full-sized, human scale, with manufacturing and ultimately clinical trials on the horizon.
