Excited for another year representing

I love these gels and consistently use them to fuel my runs. 12 miles this morning that felt amazing. It was warm and dreary out but the miles went by so fast. I felt like I just started when I finished. Those long runs don’t happen every time so I try to cherish when they do!

Proud of this year. Becoming a mom has been so rewarding but has also made training for races a lot more challenging. Having my daughter at the finish and knowing she’ll be watching for years to come is so important to me. I hope one day she’ll want to follow in mom’s footsteps. Not sure what 2026 will bring but I’m excited to log more miles. 🤍

Nice little cutback week long run on the Raleigh greenway. One thing I definitely miss about living in Raleigh is the massive greenway system. Excited for a week off of work in the mountains this week. 😍

8 weeks since Chicago and this will be my fist week adding workouts back in. I have loved the offseason and just building easy consistent miles again. My body feels so much better physically and much more rested than I was feeling in October.

I think one of the hardest parts about being a run coach on Instagram is seeing so many runners do back to back races or not giving themselves proper time to recover. And so much of that drive to do more and more is celebrated on here and we need to celebrate the off-season and true recovery more.

Looking forward to switching things up a bit this week and the months to come!

The best part of Thanksgiving IMO. 😋

First ever wrightsville beach turkey trot. We are usually in Raleigh or blowing rock for thanksgiving but when an oven broke last minute plans changed! This was HUGE over 3000 runners for a sold out turkey trot. Running has seriously blown up and I love it.

Set a goal for sub 20 and hoped I could pull it off with no speed work since before Chicago. Turns out consistency and strength training win again! So proud of this time. 12th female overall! Now for all the good food! Happy thanksgiving!

A glimpse inside my head from someone who runs without headphones.

First double digit run post Chicago. It was average not the worst not the best. A really pretty day though with really warm temps for late November this weekend. 2 consumed and half a packet of in my bottle.
