Congratulations to Oak Forest Health and Rehabilitation Center for receiving this week's ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ REVIEW OF THE WEEK.

“My grandmother was in rehab for two weeks. She told me she had the best care that she has ever had from a rehab facility. She also said that everyone was so nice, caring and knowledgeable of the job they were doing from all departments that worked with her.

She stated that everyone worked together as a team and made her feel safe. She knows she has a long way to go, but is thankful that she was given the tools to keep pushing. Thank you for everyone’s assistance in her care. We greatly appreciate all the work everyone put in.”

October was full of festive fun at Liberty Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Johnston County! 🎃🍂

Residents and staff got into the Halloween spirit by making spooky spider eggs, enjoying treats and celebrating with a Fall Festival and Trunk or Treat! 🎃 Fall fun was in full swing at Shoreland Health Care and Retirement Center as residents and staff teamed up for a friendly pumpkin decorating contest! 🍂✨

Everyone showed off their creativity, but two teams took home the top prizes:

🚗 Vintage Cars & Fun at The Foley Center! 🎉

Residents, staff, families and community members enjoyed an exciting car show hosted by The High-Country Car Club, featuring beautiful vintage cars for everyone to admire! 🏎️✨

The event also featured games, prizes, popcorn, cotton candy, hot dogs and refreshments, creating a fun-filled day for all. It was wonderful to see our Blowing Rock community come together for laughter, connection and shared memories. 💙

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Liberty Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Lee County hosted a heartwarming Pink Out Social! Residents and staff wore pink, added fun accessories, and came together to celebrate, educate, and honor the fight against breast cancer. 🎀

The event featured a delicious cake, a pink-themed candy bar, Breast Cancer Awareness Bingo, and beautiful coloring activities. One resident even created a special survivor picture for a staff member whose wife is in remission — a touching reminder of courage, hope, and community. 💕

It was an uplifting day full of support for survivors, the progress in research, and cherished memories of those we’ve lost. Together, we continue to raise awareness and support the fight against breast cancer! 💗

💗 Oak Forest Health and Rehabilitation Center came together for Pink Out Day in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Staff and residents showed their support by dressing in pink and celebrating strength, hope and resilience. 🎀

A special highlight of the day was recognizing Admissions Director Karen Ferguson who is proudly celebrating 10 years as a breast cancer survivor! 💪 Her story continues to inspire us all.
