September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, a reminder that this is the most common cancer among men (after skin cancer) and the second leading cause of cancer death in U.S. men. When detected early, prostate cancer is highly treatable, often with excellent survival rates. Screening can help catch it before symptoms appear. This month is an opportunity to encourage men to take charge of their health through awareness, screening, and preventive care. Dr. Roberto Navarette, board-certified urologist at AtlantiCare, has more. https://youtu.be/aqQm4DabHPU

My Story

My personal and professional mission is - “Empowering people to live a healthier life” and I do that every Sunday morning on Living Well with Robin Stoloff on Lite Rock 96.9 WFPG Atlantic City or online at literock969.com. Over the years I have interviewed many experts in medicine, health, fitness, and community organizations. I have always been active in sports and fitness and when I began working at NBC 40 in my early twenties, I created a new award-winning feature called Health Update which became the longest-running health series in New Jersey. At NBC 40, I was also proud to host a weekly program called Health Today for almost fifteen years.

When NBC 40 went off the air in 2014, I began hosting my radio program (https://literock969.com/healthupdate/ ), which you can hear every Sunday 9-10am on Lite Rock 96.9 WFPG in Atlantic City or http://literock969.com .

I also write a column in New Jersey Lifestyle Magazine on health. I created a workout video on the beaches of Atlantic City, competed in fitness and body building contests and I am still teaching workout classes today. An avid tennis player, I strive to live a healthy life and practice what I preach.

I hope I am making a difference in the lives of other people. love what I do and I hope you will join me.
