Honored to have served as the keynote speaker for the Village of Hempstead’s Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration. Being among such powerful men and women committed to advancing Dr. King’s legacy was truly inspiring. Together, we embody his dream and strive for a brighter, united future..

🌟 Surprised and Humbled Beyond Words 🌟
I am beyond honored and deeply humbled to receive the Council on Social Work Education’s Council on the Role and Status of Women in Social Work Education Community Impact Award. This recognition means so much because it speaks to the heart of what drives me: empowering women through community and to everyone who has walked alongside me on this journey—thank you for your unwavering support and belief in this work. And to every single one of my mentees in Elev8ted Vizionaries and Elev8ted Vizionettes, you are the reason I do this. Watching each of you step boldly into your purpose and overcome challenges has been a true blessing.
As scripture says, “Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up” (Galatians 6:9, MSG). This award is a reminder of God’s faithfulness and the power of staying true to our calling.
To God be the glory for what He is doing through this work and the lives being transformed. When one of us rises, we all rise together! Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. đź’« #CommunityImpact #Empowerment #FaithInAction #Mentorship #SocialWork
Feeling overwhelmingly blessed and joyful! Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us of God’s promise for a hopeful and prosperous future, and I’m seeing that unfold in real life. This Friday was a testament to God’s plan in action—over 200 people celebrated the power and resilience of women through the Elev8ted Vizionsries Women’s Empowerment Mentoring Program. We’ve just graduated our second cohort of phenomenal women, ready to make their mark on the world. This gala wasn’t just a celebration but a call to continue supporting, honoring, and uplifting each other. Huge thanks to the event team, my mentor, the visionary alumni, and the class of 2024 for making it unforgettable. Special shoutouts to my daughter Amaris, Alana, Cece, Nakaiya, Earnest Robinson, and the executive board for their incredible support. Thank you to Earline Abrahams for the phenomenal decorations and the best DJ on this side of Heaven Juan Garcia. What can I say about DrMichelle Raysor. To all of the vendors at the Pregala Elev8xpo.. Powerful 🙏🏾‼️To many friends and family to name, I love you all! Excited for April 1st, when we welcome 13 more women into our third cohort, ready for transformation. This is a God-led movement, preparing us for our next chapter. Thank you to everyone on this journey with us. Much love!
