Hello,

It’s Megan from Vessel Christian Counseling. With the Lord’s strong leading on my heart, I have decided to start what will prayerfully be an ongoing counseling group for partners of s*x addicts.
If you are a woman (group is for women only) whose spouse (or know of someone who could benefit—please pass this on to others/your churches) has struggled with any kind of s*xual addiction such as po*******hy, video chatting/messaging, affairs, strip clubs, prostitutes, or any other kind of s*xual addiction activity, I invite you to join our group as we walk you towards hope, healing and peace in the midst of this tragedy.
The group will be 12 weeks long, starting Thursday, October 17th from 7-8:30pm and will be every Thursday (except holidays, those will be taken off) for 12 weeks. Each group will be $40 per person with payment taken at the end of each group. Participants are expected to attend each group, this is not an ongoing optional drop-in group, rather a dedicated 12 week group which will have the same ladies starting/ending each group, new members may not enter an already started group.
This is different from a ‘support group’ as it is ran as an actual therapy group and group counseling techniques will be employed by me, a licensed Christian marriage & family therapist associate.

*In person space is VERY limited, the group will also be available online for anyone in Idaho or Washington state.*
The materials for the class will be the book ‘Your Sexually Addicted Spouse: How Partners Can Cope and Heal’ by Marsha Means as well as the workbook ‘From Betrayal Trauma to Healing & Joy’ also by Marsha Means.

This has been a desire God has put on my heart for over a decade.
It's finally here.
He has been faithful in opening doors in ways beyond what my lil' brain could comprehend.
I couldn't be more thrilled to announce my (yet another) new business, Building Christian Marriages, alongside my supervisor, friend and mentor Dr. Ami Owens. Together we will be holding Christian marriage conferences across Idaho and well, wherever the Lord leads... ;)
Our first one is October 26th here in Boise.
Space is limited in person, it's also available online.
I also created the website, so go easy on me!

I am going to be starting a bi-weekly (every other week) women’s only group for wives/fiances/girlfriends on Thursdays from 7-8:30 PM MST sometime in the nearish future (I want to gauge interest first). I have strongly felt an urge on my heart to start this group to support and encourage women in a relationship to honor the Lord in their role as spouse/fiance/partner and for us to encourage and support one another. I will be having a ‘loose’ curriculum based on the book ‘Sacred Influence’ by Gary Thomas. I will provide information each session for discussion. This will be an open group, meaning women may come and go, and it will be ongoing as long as I have interest. There will be no need to commit to coming to every session. This will be considered a ‘counseling group,’ so I will be providing guidance and feedback as needed. Groups are powerful, and I have always had a strong desire to support and encourages wives/partners in a God honoring way. I would likely start the group in mid/late August. The cost would be $75 per session. Please let me know if you’d be interested so I can form my next steps. *I will also offer you to attend virtually, so you do NOT have to be local to attend, or you can attend from the comfort of your home even if you are local!* Also, if you know of any other women who would like to join, please let me know! You may be shocked hearing somebody who acts completely normal and even happy/outgoing/bubbly is actually screaming inside with depression/anxiety. Be gentle with people, get the help/support, check in and see how your people are really doing ❤️
