WATCH MY VIDEO!
DREAMS DO COME TRUE!! 💚🦋🌸
This is it! It’s happening! Watch my video on YouTube; like, subscribe, share with everyone you know who is interested in travel, nature, and connection with indigenous peoples. Watch for new uploads and follow me as I will be spending 30 days with the Bribri in Amubri, one of four Bribri tribes in Costa Rica. These are the last of their people living traditionally, in the mountain jungle, working to preserve their language and culture. I fell in love with them and the heart of this rain forest in 2016. I’ve now visited Costa Rica five times and stayed with Roger and the Bribri four times, and yet feel like I barely know anything about their eight worlds and their matriarchal society and medicine plants and spirits that inhabit all things. I crave a deeper understanding. I feel the world has much to learn from our indigenous people and this is my way of helping them share their knowledge! The Bribri want you to know they exist!!
ASKING FOR SUPPORT
Here’s my ask: I intend to post daily videos. I plan to be successful and am flexible to what will be. Maybe I “fail”, maybe I lose my phone, maybe I can’t figure out how to edit, maybe I run out of data or memory storage, there are plenty of maybes, but what I call forth is a smooth, fun, fairly simple, highly efficient, use-my-smart-brain kind of experience so I can share with you in real time. I’ll be using my iPhone and my GoPro hero7. For anyone who feels called or inspired to support, I will also need:
a drone for GoPro
Or other inexpensive drone
tips on using it
an iPad with iMovie
backup iPhone
backup GoPro
Memory storage device
memory disks for GoPro
handheld language translator device
colored pencils for the kids
any advice or tips on movie making and sharing
social media support
remdesivir, z-pac, broad spectrum antibiotics
Let me know if any of you have anything you want to donate or loan, and I’m open to all your ideas and advice. I’ll be shopping this weekend for anything I still need. Departure date April 1st!!
A brief summary of my intention here, how I met the Bribri. The first video of several to come (at least 30), as I share my Four Week visit with this indigen...
