This right here? This is why I spend late nights on the Meadow. 🥺💛

When I first created Clara’s Comfort, I wasn’t trying to launch a brand. I was just a desperate mama trying to help my own baby girl.

My daughter Clara struggled with eczema that seemed to react to everything. I remember standing in the store aisle, reading label after label, and feeling frustrated by the long lists of synthetic fillers in “gentle” baby products. I wanted something that would actually heal her barrier, not just cover it up.

So, I made it myself.

I became obsessed, researching all hours of the night, and poured organic ingredients into a jar, praying it would bring her some relief. And when her red, irritated skin finally calmed down? I knew I couldn’t keep this recipe to myself.

Reading reviews like this one from Lindsey brings me to tears because I know that feeling of relief.🥲

Whether it’s a stubborn diaper rash, winter windburn on little cheeks (especially with that Boise wind), or a random drool rash, I believe in this product with my whole heart because I formulated it for the person I love most. ✨

In a world full of instant gratification, we’re okay with waiting.

If you look at the back of a skincare bottle, you might see “Calendula” listed. But not all Calendula is created equal. 🌼

Most mass-produced brands use what’s called a “standardized extract”. Think of it like a powdered mix- it’s fast, cheap, and gets the job done.

But here at the Meadow? We do things the slow way. We take whole, organic Calendula flowers & steep them in cold-processed oils for six full weeks. No heat. No rushing.

By letting the flowers sit, the oil slowly pulls out the deep, healing resins & flavonoids that high-heat processing can destroy. It’s what gives our balm their rich, healing properties- & it’s exactly what your little one’s skin barrier needs to fight off eczema, winter dryness, and inflammation.

It’s definitely a labor of love, but when I see the difference in how it soothes my own daughter’s skin, I know it’s worth every second.

We’ve been quiet around here…because we’ve been soaking it all in. ✨

Happy New Year! 💛 The holidays with five daughters (ages 1-12) are pure magic, a bit of chaos, and so many memories. We took a step back from screens to be fully present for the moments that matter most.

But now, we’re feeling refreshed, inspired, and ready to pour that same love back into Mama’s Meadow. I can’t believe we’re close to our one year anniversary since starting this passion project.

Our word for 2026 is “Nurture”. Nurturing our families, our community, and your skin with the purest ingredients nature has to offer.

We have some big dreams for this little “formulation studio” of ours this year. Clara is older which means I have a smidge more freedom 😅 but mostly, thank you for being here to grow with us.

“From cradle to college.” That’s the vision. 🦋

When you look at this lineup, you aren’t just seeing skincare. You’re seeing the different seasons of my motherhood.

With five daughters ranging from 12 months to 12 years old, my home is my formulation studio and my living laboratory. I realized early on that “safe” shouldn’t stop once they grow out of diapers.

🌿 For my 1-year-old: It’s about gentle barrier protection and soothing eczema with Clara’s Comfort.

🌿 For my 5, 8 &10 year-olds: It’s about soothing those inevitable scraped knees and growing pains after a long day of play with Dreamy Knees.

🌿 For my 12-year-old: It’s about introducing a face routine she can trust- gentle, non-toxic, and effective- laying the foundation for healthy skin with Golden Hour.

🌿And for me (the busy mama): It’s about functional support. Hi! I’m Jeannine, the founder of Mama’s Meadow. 👋
And this is my “why.”

Most days, I’m just “Mom” to these five incredible daughters. Between homeschooling lessons, navigating the beautiful, messy chaos of a big family, and formulating skincare in small batches, life is rarely quiet- but it is so full. 💛

Mama’s Meadow wasn’t born in a boardroom; it was born out of necessity in my own kitchen, fueled by a mother’s determination. When my youngest, Clara (held here!), struggled with eczema that wouldn’t clear, I felt completely defeated by the products available. I knew I had to create the solution I couldn’t find: something truly pure, safe, and effective for her sensitive skin.

What started as a balm for Clara has grown into a promise to you: I will NEVER offer a product that I wouldn’t use on my own babies.

But every year around this time, I’m reminded why I started any of it in the first place.

The little arms that pull me away from my to-do list and into the moment.
