St. Patrick’s Day Tip: Be Mindful with Corned Beef & Cabbage ☘️

St. Patrick’s Day traditions often include corned beef and cabbage, and while cabbage is a great vegetable choice, corned beef itself can be 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗶𝗻 𝗳𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗱𝗶𝘂𝗺.

Corned beef is a cured meat that sits in a salty brine, which means a single serving can quickly add a 𝘭𝘢𝘳𝘨𝘦 𝘢𝘮𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘴𝘰𝘥𝘪𝘶𝘮 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘢𝘵 to your day. For those working hard on their program, it’s something to be mindful of.

If this is a meal you really enjoy and don’t want to skip, there are a few simple ways to keep things balanced:

• Consider using it as your 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗹 for the week, followed by a reset day to get right back on track with your plan.

• Reduce the portion – eat 2 oz of corn beef instead of the typical 4 oz serving.

• Load up on cabbage and other vegetables to keep your plate balanced. Don’t forget your fruit!

Remember, one meal doesn’t define your progress. What matters most is consistency and getting right back to your healthy habits.

Enjoy the holiday, stay mindful, and keep moving forward. ☘️

Supporting Your Body From the Inside Out

Many people assume weight loss only happens when you drastically cut calories or spend hours exercising. But often the body simply needs the right conditions to begin functioning the way it was designed to.

One of the first steps is returning to real, whole foods and reducing the highly processed foods and chemicals that can interfere with normal metabolic balance.

When the body begins receiving cleaner nutrition and more balanced meals, many people notice positive changes such as improved energy, fewer cravings, and better overall wellness.

Our Metabolic Restore approach focuses on helping the body rebalance so it can burn fat more efficiently while supporting long-term health. The goal isn’t just losing weight it’s improving body composition and helping people feel better day to day.

Healthy habits built on real food and proper support can make a meaningful difference over time.

Weight Loss Wins Aren’t Always on the Scale

One of the most exciting parts of a health journey is noticing the changes that go beyond the number on the scale.

Things like having more energy, feeling more positive, moving more comfortably, or being able to do everyday activities with ease are meaningful signs that your body is responding to healthier habits.

These kinds of non-scale victories often show up before anything else and they’re just as important to celebrate.

Small improvements in how you feel day to day can add up to big changes over time.

💬 What’s a positive change you’ve noticed since focusing more on your health?

Individual experiences may vary.

Health Starts With What We Put In Our Bodies

Many people think weight loss is only about eating less or exercising more. But in many cases, the body simply needs the right environment to function properly again.

One of the most important steps is returning to real, whole foods — foods that nourish the body instead of being filled with preservatives, additives, and chemicals that can disrupt normal metabolic function.

When we begin removing excess processed foods and focusing on balanced, nutrient-dense meals, the body often starts to respond in positive ways. Energy can improve, cravings may decrease, and the body can begin working more efficiently.

That’s one of the reasons our Metabolic Restore approach focuses on helping the body rebalance and support a healthier metabolism. The goal isn’t simply weight loss — it’s helping people improve overall health while reducing excess body fat.

Small, consistent habits like choosing real food and supporting your metabolism can make a powerful difference over time.

Vegetable of the Week: Green Beans

Sometimes the simplest foods are the most supportive for overall health. Green beans are a great example of a light, nutrient-dense vegetable that can easily be included in balanced meals.

Green beans provide fiber, vitamins A and C, and important antioxidants that help support immune health, digestion, and overall wellness. Because they are naturally low in calories while still adding volume to a meal, they can help you feel satisfied while keeping meals balanced.

Another benefit of green beans is how easy they are to prepare. They can be:

• Lightly steamed
• Sautéed with simple seasonings
• Added to stir-fries or sheet-pan meals
• Served chilled in salads

Their crisp texture and mild flavor make them an easy side option that pairs well with many proteins and other vegetables.

Focusing on simple whole foods like green beans can help support healthier eating patterns over time. It’s not about perfection, it’s about consistent choices that help nourish your body day after day.

🥗 Consistency over perfection.

What Does “Metabolic Restore” Actually Mean?

At Everalis Weight Loss, we don’t focus on quick fixes. We focus on restoring function.

Over time, chronic dieting, stress, inflammation, poor sleep, unstable blood sugar, and processed foods can disrupt how efficiently your metabolism works. When that happens, the body often shifts into a protective mode holding onto fat, increasing cravings, lowering energy, and resisting change.

Our Metabolic Restore System is designed to help your body shift back toward balance.

Here’s what that means:

• Supporting stable blood sugar patterns
• Reducing inflammation through whole, single-ingredient foods
• Structuring balanced portions that fuel not restrict
• Improving body composition, not just scale weight
• Providing consistent coaching and accountability

When metabolism is supported properly, the body responds differently.

Energy often improves.
Cravings become more manageable.
Consistency feels sustainable.

This isn’t about extreme dieting.
It’s about restoring how your body was designed to function.

If you’ve felt stuck despite “doing everything right,” your metabolism may simply need structure and support not more restriction.

Chicken Noodle Stir-fry

INGREDIENTS:
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
8 oz noodles (heart of palm, or spaghetti, squash, on plan)
1 tablespoon ghee
1 onion, sliced
1 bell pepper, sliced
1 cup broccoli florets
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
1/4 cup liquid amino acids
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 tablespoon raw honey
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
Fresh cilantro or green onions for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Cook the Noodles: according to instructions
2. Cook the Chicken: Heat 1 tablespoon of ghee in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the sliced chicken and stir-fry for 4-5 minutes, or until fully cooked and lightly browned. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
3. Stir-fry the Vegetables: In the same pan, add the onion, bell pepper and broccoli. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp. Add the minced garlic and ginger, and stir for another minute until fragrant.
4. Make the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, raw honey (if using), and red pepper flakes.
5. Combine the Stir-fry: Add the cooked chicken and noodles back into the pan with the vegetables. Pour the sauce over everything and toss well to combine, ensuring the sauce coats all the ingredients evenly. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
6. Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat and garnish with fresh cilantro or sliced green onions. Serve hot and enjoy!

Vegetable of the Week: Asparagus

When it comes to building a healthy plate, simple choices matter.

Asparagus is a light, nutrient-dense vegetable that fits beautifully into a structured weight loss plan. It’s naturally low in calories, contains fiber to support digestion, and pairs easily with lean protein for a balanced meal.

Why does that matter?

Because sustainable weight loss isn’t about restriction, it’s about creating meals that are satisfying, supportive, and aligned with your goals.

Adding vegetables like asparagus helps:

• Increase volume on your plate without excess calories
• Support digestive health
• Keep meals balanced and nutrient-rich

At Everalis Weight Loss, we focus on whole, real foods that help your body function efficiently. Small, consistent habits, like incorporating vegetables regularly can make a meaningful difference over time.

Simple. Whole. Real Food.
