We have part time daytime and early evening positions, weekday and weekend available in Romeoville, Bolingbrook, Woodridge, Lemont, New Lenox, Joliet, Shorewood, Darian.
16-20 hours a week with the possibility of more hours based on availability and client intake
$16-$18 an hour starting base rate
$2 extra an hour at the weekend

Caregivers report the following as the biggest issues they face in their role:

Isolation: We can feel cut off from the outside world as we care for individuals in their own homes
Caregiver burnout: Caregiver can completely neglect their own needs as we focus 100% of our energy on the person we are looking after.
Lack of Support: We can feel that once we are in the role we have no help at hand.
Financial strain: Working sometimes irregular hours can mean we do not have a regular income
Lack of knowledge: Once in the role and working we do not always have the resources to learn and progress at hand.
Caregiver guilt: We can become emotionally involved and feel guilty for what we cannot change.
