🧼✨ Stepping fully into my soap‑making era.

After weeks of research, note‑taking, and talking with seasoned makers, today’s batch feels like such a milestone. 🍊🍋🌿 Orange, Lemon & Rosemary — bright, clean, and so refreshing.

And as always: FULLY organic.
Only pure organic essential oils — never fragrance oils, never synthetics. Just plants, patience, and the slow craft of from‑scratch living.

Now they rest for 4–6 weeks to cure… the quiet part of the process where patience does its work. And honestly, now that I’m finally comfortable with the lye, I’m excited to dive into a few more batches while the momentum is flowing.

From-scratch living feels like such a gift — slow, intentional, and full of little victories like this. Coming to storefront!

Today, Cat, Gracie, and I wandered down to the lower tier of our property, The Haven of Angels. Tiny flecks of snow drifted down so gently it looked like God was sprinkling glitter over us. We stopped, breathed it in, and gave thanks for the sweetness of that moment.

2025 Christmas tree finally up. Late? Maybe. Perfect for our little haven? Absolutely. Hygge mode activated.

✨ PART 1 — Our Hygge Christmas Craft Begins ✨

We finally pulled out a project we started almost three years ago when we first moved to Idaho… and today we’re finishing it.

We cut these stars on our Cricut, glued each layer with love, added hangers, and now we’re writing the Names of Jesus—every beautiful name He’s called throughout Scripture.

Some people say we’re “late” decorating our tree… but according to the Danish Hygge way, we’re right on time. Slow. Cozy. Present. Creating beauty as we go.

Christmas Eve decorating just feels right for us this year.
